Investigation Launched Against Dilip Khedkar, Father of IAS Officer Puja Khedkar, for Unaccounted Wealth
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Pune has initiated an inquiry against Dilip Khedkar, the father of probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar, to investigate unaccounted wealth owned by the family. Puja Khedkar, who secured an All India rank of 821 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams, is also under scrutiny for allegedly abusing her authority.
ACB SP Atul Tambe stated that a detailed report of the investigation has been drafted and sent to the headquarters for further action. The name of the complainant remains confidential.
Earlier, Pune RTI activist Vijay Kumbhar raised questions about Puja Khedkar’s appointment, alleging that she did not qualify for the OBC non-creamy layer category as her father had assets worth Rs 40 crore. Kumbhar claimed that based on the election affidavits filed by Dilip Khedkar in the Lok Sabha elections, the total assets amount to Rs 40 crore, with an annual income of Rs 49 lakh.
