India’s Shooting Teams Miss Medal Matches at Paris 2024 Olympics
India’s campaign in shooting at the Paris 2024 Olympics began with disappointment as both Indian teams in the 10 m air rifle mixed team events failed to qualify for the medal matches.
Performance of Indian Teams
Two Indian pairs, Elavenil Valarivan and Sandeep Singh, and Arjun Babuta and Ramita Jindal, participated in the qualifiers. Only four out of 28 teams could advance to the knockout stages. Ramita and Arjun finished sixth with 628.7 points, just one point behind Germany, who secured the fourth spot. Elavenil and Sandeep finished twelfth with 626.3 points.
