New Delhi, August 10: India’s Men’s Hockey team forward, Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, shared the team’s future plans after winning a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics 2024. He emphasized the team’s preparation and their next goal, the World Cup. ‘There was no fear; we had prepared for the last four years. We listened to stories of the golden era, wondering if we could emulate or even surpass it. Now, the next target is the World Cup,’ Lalit Kumar stated.
The Indian team played as a unit and never gave up, according to Lalit. He also thanked the Government of India, SAI, and TOPS for their support. The team arrived at New Delhi Airport on Saturday morning after their victory.
