India’s First Neon Art Exhibition ‘NEOPHORIA’ Shines in Patna, Bihar

Patna, Bihar hosted India’s first neon art exhibition called ‘NEOPHORIA’ on Thursday. This unique event, held at the Art Gallery of Bhatiya Nitya Kala Mandir, was organized in collaboration with the Bihar Art and Culture Department.

Over 15 neon artists from across Bihar participated, showcasing more than 50 artworks. The exhibition, which lasts for four days, aims to provide a platform for artists to display their talents and encourage newcomers.

Ruby, the Director of the Art and Culture Department of Bihar, explained that the concept behind the exhibition is called ‘La Pintura,’ which involves using neon colors. She emphasized the importance of art in societal development and encouraged more people to visit the exhibition.

RJ Anjali, a visitor, expressed her excitement about the event, highlighting how it provides a much-needed platform for artists in Bihar. Another visitor, Binda Singh, praised the exhibition and hoped for more such events in the future.

Artist Ritu Raj, who participated in the exhibition, shared his happiness and explained that his painting addresses the issue of school and college fee hikes. He emphasized the importance of such platforms for young artists.
