Indian Supercross Racing League Opens Rider Registration for Exciting Season 2
The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), the world’s first franchise-based Supercross league, has started rider registration for its second season. After a thrilling first season, the league is set to push boundaries again.
Season 1 Highlights
Season 1 saw over 104 registrations from top riders worldwide, including champions from the USA, Italy, France, South Africa, Australia, Thailand, and India. Notable participants included:
- Matt Moss – 9-time Australian MX and SX Champion
- Jordi Tixier – World Champion MX2 (2014)
- Thomas Ramette – 2022 Prince of Paris (SX2)
- Hugo Manzato from France
- Caleb Goullet and Reid Taylor from Australia
- Brian Gyles from Thailand
Indian riders like Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, Prajwal Vishwanth, Sarthak Chavan, and Shlok Ghorpade also showcased their talent.
Excitement for Season 2
Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder & Director of ISRL, expressed excitement for Season 2, confident it will surpass the success of the first season. He highlighted India’s capability to host world-class Supercross events and the league’s growing global interest.
Rugved Barguje, a 3-time Indian National SX Champion, shared his unforgettable experience from Season 1 and his excitement for the upcoming season. Jordi Tixier and Brendan Sipple also praised the league’s organization and fan support, looking forward to more thrilling races.
Rider Registration Details
Rider registration includes four categories: 450cc international riders, 250cc international riders, 250cc India-Asia mix, and 85cc junior class. Registration is the first step to enter the rider pool and be considered for selection by franchises during the player auction.
The upcoming season, scheduled from January to March 2025, will feature multiple rounds across various Indian cities, promising an unparalleled blend of action, entertainment, and fierce competition.
