New Delhi, India – In a significant move to make travel more comfortable, Indian Railways announced the addition of 92 new general class coaches in 46 long-distance trains. This initiative aims to provide better and more accessible travel options for passengers in the general category.

Plans are also in place to expand coach capacity in 22 more trains, focusing on adding more general class coaches. This decision responds to the growing demand for affordable travel options and aims to make journeys less crowded and more comfortable for many passengers.
