Indian Racer Akshay Gupta Wins at Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie
In an exciting race at the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie in Germany, Indian racecar driver Akshay Gupta, alongside German co-driver Alex Schneider, secured a victory in the VT2-F category. They finished 46th overall out of 121 cars. This win is a significant achievement for Gupta, who overcame numerous challenges earlier in the season, including mechanical issues and a rib fracture.
Gupta and Schneider excelled in the wet conditions of the Nurburgring circuit, qualifying in 2nd place. Schneider led the race for the first two hours before handing over to Gupta, who maintained and extended the lead, finishing with a 1 minute 41 seconds advantage.
Gupta expressed his joy, stating, “We’re overjoyed with this win. Alex has been an incredible teammate. The wet conditions played to our advantage, and we managed our tire strategy well.”
