Indian Navy’s Relief Efforts in Cyclone Dana-Hit Odisha Villages

The Indian Navy has launched extensive relief operations in response to Cyclone Dana’s impact on Odisha. Villages such as Kanhapur, Bagapatia, Barahipur, Magarkanda, Charigheria, and Satabhaya are receiving immediate aid. Relief camps have been set up in Batipada and Talchua to support those affected.

To meet urgent food needs, 9,000 meals have been distributed. Additionally, the NOIC (ODS) has collaborated with state agencies to establish a medical camp, providing essential healthcare to around 400 people. Two mobile relief teams are working to deliver meals and medical aid to remote areas, ensuring help reaches those in need. Efforts are ongoing to help communities rebuild after the cyclone.
