Indian National Gopi Krishna Dasari Tragically Killed in Dallas Robbery

Gopi Krishna Dasari, originally from Yazali in Karlapalem Mandal of Bapatla district, Andhra Pradesh, was tragically killed in a robbery shooting at Pleasant Grove, Dallas, Texas. The Indian consulate in Houston expressed deep sorrow and offered sincere condolences to his family. They are in touch with local family members and providing all possible assistance.

Dasari had been living in the United States for the past 11 months and was employed at a supermarket in Arkansas. The incident occurred when an assailant approached him at the counter and fired at him, causing severe injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Dasari succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over Dasari’s demise and assured that the state government will extend every possible support to bring back his mortal remains. Senior BJP leader Muralidhar Rao also conveyed his condolences and assured support to the family during this tough time.
