Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to Visit Nepal

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is set to visit Nepal on August 11-12. This visit is at the invitation of Nepali Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal. The main goal is to strengthen the relationship between Nepal and India and to discuss ways to work together more closely.

During his visit, Misri will meet with important leaders in Nepal. However, no official agreements or decisions will be made during this trip. This visit is part of the regular exchange of visits between the two friendly neighbors.

Before this, Misri visited Bhutan in July, where he co-chaired the third Development Cooperation Talks of the 13th Five-Year Plan. He also helped inaugurate 19 schools in Bhutan. Misri became the Foreign Secretary of India on July 15.
