Indian Cricketers Shine at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Sangeet in Mumbai

The Sangeet celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai turned into a cricketing festivity with the presence of T20 World Cup heroes – Captain Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya. The audience, including family, friends, and guests, applauded the star cricketers warmly.

Nita Ambani, visibly emotional, shared how the T20 World Cup win is personal for her as the three cricketers are part of her Mumbai Indians family. She reminisced about the thrilling final and praised Hardik Pandya for his performance, saying, “Tough Times don’t last but tough people do.” Mukesh Ambani also congratulated the cricketers, recalling the joy of India’s 2011 World Cup win.

Other notable cricketers like Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, KL Rahul, and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni attended the event. Jasprit Bumrah, however, was unable to attend due to travel commitments.

The Sangeet ceremony was a star-studded affair with performances by pop sensation Justin Bieber and appearances by celebrities like Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene. The event took place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai.

As part of the wedding celebrations, Mukesh and Nita Ambani organized a mass wedding for the underprivileged on July 2 and a Mameru ceremony on July 3. The main wedding ceremonies will begin on July 12 with Shubh Vivah, followed by Shubh Aashirwad on July 13, and Mangal Utsav on July 14. Earlier this year, the couple hosted pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar with a star-studded guest list.
