The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, celebrated their T20 World Cup victory with a grand parade in Mumbai, culminating at Wankhede Stadium. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) presented the team with a Rs 125 crore cheque.

The celebration began with an open-top bus parade from Marine Drive, where fans danced and cheered for the team. At Wankhede Stadium, the players danced to dhol beats and distributed balls to the fans. Many fans took selfies and asked for autographs from the cricketers.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced the prize money after India won the T20 World Cup final against South Africa by 7 runs. He praised the team’s exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

In the final match, India’s pace trio of Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya showcased excellent death bowling, helping India secure their second T20 World Cup title. Contributions from Virat Kohli and Axar Patel led India to a competitive total of 176/7, ending a 13-year ICC World Cup trophy drought and making India the first team to win the T20 World Cup title unbeaten.
