He also recalled Poland’s assistance in evacuating Indian students from Ukraine in 2022 and the historical ties dating back to World War II when over 6,000 Polish women and children found refuge in India.

During his visit, PM Modi will meet with Polish leaders, including the President and Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and will interact with the Indian community in Poland. He will also receive a ceremonial welcome in Warsaw before traveling to Ukraine.
