Month-Long Commemoration

A series of events marking the 62nd Walong Day began on October 17 and will continue until November 14, 2024. Activities include white water rafting, motorcycle and bicycle rallies, battlefield and adventure treks, and a half marathon, showcasing the adventurous spirit of the Indian Army.

Community Engagement

Medical and veterinary camps will be held to support remote villages, strengthening the bond between the Army and local communities. The events will culminate on Walong Day with the inauguration of the renovated Walong War Memorial, a wreath-laying ceremony, and cultural performances.
