Indian Army Deploys Special Forces to Counter Pakistani Terrorists in Jammu

The Indian Army is taking action in the Jammu region due to the infiltration of highly trained Pakistani terrorists. Around 500 Para Special Forces commandos have been deployed to hunt down 50-55 terrorists from Pakistan who have entered the area to revive terrorism.

Intelligence agencies are also enhancing their efforts to dismantle terrorist support structures, including overground workers who assist terrorists. The Army has brought in a brigade of 3,500-4,000 personnel to counter this threat.

The Army is using existing counter-terrorist units, such as the Rashtriya Rifles’ Romeo and Delta forces, along with other regular infantry divisions, to search and destroy the terrorists, who are equipped with the latest weaponry and communication equipment.
