Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi Visits Jabalpur and Northeast India
Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited Headquarters Madhya Bharat Area in Jabalpur to review operational logistics and administrative preparedness. He appreciated the contributions of Veterans and VeerNaris and emphasized their welfare.
General Dwivedi also visited the Military College of Material Management and Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regimental Centre in Jabalpur, where he was briefed on innovative technology adaptations in training, infrastructure development, and administrative activities.
Earlier, General Dwivedi made his first visit to the Northeast since becoming Army Chief. He reviewed the security situation along the China border in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. During his two-day visit, he was briefed on the situation in Manipur, which has experienced significant ethnic violence. He also visited the Tezpur-based Gajraj 4 Corps to review the Line of Actual Control with China and ongoing infrastructure projects in Sikkim.
