On October 15, 2024, a search operation in Leirongthel Pitra, Thoubal district, led to the recovery of various weapons including an AK 56 Rifle, SLR, Carbine Machine Gun, and more. The following day, another operation near Cannan Veng village, Churachandpur District, resulted in the seizure of a .303 Rifle, several Single Barrel Rifles, and a 9mm Pistol.
