Indian Army and Manipur Police Find Hidden Weapons in Imphal

In a joint operation, the Indian Army and Manipur Police discovered a large stash of weapons and ammunition in Imphal East district, Manipur. The search, conducted on July 7, included the use of an Army Explosive Detection Dog due to the challenging terrain.

Recovered Items

The operation led to the recovery of:

• One Heavy Caliber (70mm) Launcher
• Two 9mm Pistols
• One 12 Bore-Single Barrel Gun
• One Improvised Grenade Launcher
• Six Grenades
• Two Tube Launchers
• Ammunition and War-like stores

The recovered items have been handed over to Manipur Police for further investigation.
