Digital Public Infrastructure

Agarwal praised India’s progress in creating digital public infrastructure, which is widely admired in the region. He mentioned that India is collaborating with Laos and other ASEAN countries to develop this infrastructure further.

Warning Against Job Scams

The Ambassador warned Indian youth about job scams in Laos, advising them to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of job offers through the Indian Embassy. He mentioned that the embassy has issued detailed advisories and provided contact details for verification.

Recent Rescues

Recently, the Indian Embassy in Laos rescued 13 Indians who were lured into illegal work. Prior to this, 17 Indian workers were rescued and repatriated to India in April.
