India has won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 by defeating South Africa, ending an 11-year ICC trophy drought. The final match took place in Barbados, where India won by seven runs.

India’s victory was made possible by excellent death bowling from Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya, along with outstanding batting from Virat Kohli and Axar Patel. India scored 176/7, with Kohli making 76 runs and Patel 47 runs. South Africa managed 169/8, with Heinrich Klaasen scoring 52 runs and Quinton de Kock 39 runs. Hardik Pandya took 3 wickets for 20 runs.
