India Wins First T20I Against Sri Lanka
Shubman Gill Praises Yashasvi Jaiswal
India won the first T20I against Sri Lanka by 43 runs at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Shubman Gill, the Indian skipper, praised his batting partner Yashasvi Jaiswal, saying it was great to bat with him.
India scored 213/7 in their 20 overs with contributions from Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shubman Gill. Matheesha Pathirana was the standout bowler for Sri Lanka, taking four wickets for 40 runs in his four overs.
