India U20 Football Team Prepares for SAFF Championship in Kathmandu
The All India Football Federation has announced 36 players for the India U20 men’s camp in Goa, starting this Saturday. The team, led by head coach Ranjan Chaudhuri, is gearing up for the SAFF U20 Championship, which will take place from August 18 to 28, 2024, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
India is placed in Group B alongside Maldives and Bhutan. Group A consists of Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. After the SAFF Championship, the team will continue training in Goa for the 2025 AFC U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled for September 2024 in Laos. India is in Group G with Iran, Mongolia, and Laos.
