India Delivers Emergency Aid to Nepal

On October 7, India provided emergency relief materials to Nepal to help families affected by recent floods and landslides. The 4.2-tonne consignment included tarpaulins, sleeping bags, blankets, chlorine tablets, and water bottles, transported to Nepalgunj from India. The Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited and the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation contributed to the relief efforts by donating NPR 1 crore each to Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
