India Demands Justice for Satnam Singh in Italy

India has called for swift action against those responsible for the death of Satnam Singh, an Indian national in Italy. Muktesh Pardeshi, Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, raised the issue with Luigi Maria Vignali, Director General for Migratory Policies in Italy.

Singh died after being abandoned on the street following a work accident. The accident, which resulted in the severing of his arm, occurred while he was working at a farm. Instead of receiving help, Singh was left near his home.

The Indian Embassy in Italy is in contact with Singh’s family to provide consular help and arrange the transportation of his remains to India. The Embassy is also in touch with local authorities to ensure justice is served.
