India Celebrates First National Space Day
On August 23, 2023, India marked a historic achievement when the Chandrayaan-3 lander successfully touched down on the moon. This made India the fourth country to achieve this feat and the first to land on the lunar South Pole. In honor of this accomplishment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared August 23 as National Space Day.
