India and Japan are strengthening their collaboration in science, technology, and innovation as they mark the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. Upcoming Event in New Delhi

To commemorate this anniversary, JST is organizing an interactive discussion on October 19, 2024, at the Grand New Delhi. The event, themed ‘Promotion of Japan-India brain circulation and utilization of its human resources,’ aims to enhance international competitiveness through strong collaboration between the two nations.

Japan-India Universities Forum

The Japan-India Universities Forum, initiated in 2022, has facilitated the exchange of ideas to promote cooperation between Indian and Japanese universities. This has led to the development of new university exchange programs and specific measures to further bilateral brain circulation.

Prof. Hashimoto Kazuhito, President of JST, and Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Science & Technology, will be guest speakers at the event.
