Imran Khan’s PTI to Boycott Constitutional Amendment Vote in Pakistan
In Islamabad, Pakistan, the political party led by Imran Khan, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced its decision to abstain from voting on constitutional amendments in both legislative chambers. The PTI Political Committee has stated that the current ruling group lacks the legitimacy to amend the constitution. The presentation of the draft was postponed following meetings at Fazlur Rehman’s residence, attended by key political figures, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
