Imran Khan and PTI Leaders Acquitted in Azadi March Case

In a separate legal matter, the Islamabad High Court disposed of a petition by Imran Khan seeking to prevent a military trial related to May 9 incidents. Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb noted that the government had not yet decided on the military trial. The Additional Attorney General, Munawar Iqbal Duggal, stated that any decision would follow legal procedures.
Imran Khan’s Sisters’ Judicial Remand
On October 14, Imran Khan’s sisters, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, were moved to District Jail Jhelum from Adiala Jail after an anti-terrorism court denied extending their police remand. They were placed on judicial remand.
