Ian Chappell Praises James Anderson as the Greatest Swing Bowler in Cricket History
Former Australian cricketer Ian Chappell has praised James Anderson, the legendary England pace bowler, following his retirement from international cricket. Anderson retired after the first Test against West Indies, ending his career with 704 Test wickets, making him the third-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket history.
Chappell highlighted Anderson’s exceptional ability to swing the ball both ways without changing his action, a skill that made him a formidable opponent. Anderson’s career spanned 21 years, during which he played 188 Tests and took 991 international wickets.
