Hyderabad Police Find and Reunite Three Missing Girls with Their Families

The Kalapathar police in Hyderabad, Telangana, successfully located three missing girls and reunited them with their families within nine hours. The girls had run away after being reprimanded by their parents.

Why the Girls Ran Away

The investigation revealed that one of the girls, who had studied up to the 7th grade, was reprimanded by her father and threatened with being sent to a residential hostel. The other two girls, who worked as sales girls in Ameerpet, were rebuked by their mother for working far from home. Feeling pressured and upset, all three girls decided to run away together in the early hours of September 2, 2024.

Police Investigation

On September 2, 2024, at 4:00 AM, a resident of Bilal Nagar, Kalapathar, Hyderabad, reported that his 14-year-old daughter and his tenant’s two daughters, aged 16 and 14, had gone missing since 2:00 AM that day. Upon receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and began their investigation.

Under the guidance of superior officers, the police formed three special teams consisting of Kalapathar police personnel. They continuously reviewed CCTV footage, starting from the complainant’s house and other locations.

Successful Operation

The police efforts paid off when they traced the missing girls to Nampally Railway Station at 12:30 PM, just as the girls were about to board a train to Mumbai. The girls were safely reunited with their parents.
