Hyderabad Engineer Guguloth Gopal Caught Taking Bribe by Anti-Corruption Bureau
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad has arrested an assistant engineer named Guguloth Gopal. He was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 6,000 from a farmer named Banoth Yakub.

Gopal is an assistant engineer and special officer of Gudikunta Thanda Gram Panchayat, located in the Palakurthy Section of the Irrigation Sub-Division in Jangaon district. He was apprehended near the SBI branch in Nakkalagutta early on Monday.
Evidence and Arrest
The bribe money was recovered from the dashboard of Gopal’s car, and a chemical test confirmed the presence of the bribe. Gopal is being presented before the Hon’ble III Addl. Sessions Judge for SPE & ACB Cases in Warangal.
