HSCC India to Build AIIMS Darbhanga: A Major Healthcare Project in Bihar

HSCC India, a wholly owned subsidiary of NBCC (India), has been appointed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to construct AIIMS Darbhanga. This project is one of the largest healthcare initiatives in India, valued at approximately Rs 1261 crore.

AIIMS Darbhanga, located in Bihar, aims to provide high-quality medical education and tertiary care services. The facility will include a tertiary care hospital, a medical college, an AYUSH hospital, and accommodation for students and staff. The project spans 188 acres and will feature over 2.25 lakh square meters of construction area.

The project is expected to be completed in 36 months, significantly enhancing healthcare accessibility and educational opportunities in the region. AIIMS Darbhanga is part of the Indian government’s initiative to establish a network of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences across the country, aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and quality.

HSCC India has a proven track record of successfully executing healthcare projects across India, including AIIMS Nagpur, AIIMS Kalyani, AIIMS New Delhi, and AIIMS Raebareli. The establishment of AIIMS in Darbhanga marks another milestone in its journey.
