Hoax Bomb Threats Target CRPF Schools in Delhi and Hyderabad

On Monday night, several Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) schools across India received false bomb threats. The schools affected include two in Delhi, located in Rohini and Dwarka, and one in Hyderabad. The threats were sent via email to the schools’ management, warning of a potential bomb blast in classrooms at 11 am on Tuesday. Authorities, including the CRPF, Intelligence Bureau, and Delhi Police, are investigating the incident.

The threats were deemed hoaxes, following a blast outside a CRPF school in Delhi’s Rohini on Sunday, claimed by a pro-Khalistani group. The blast caused damage but no injuries. Delhi Police are working with social media platforms and Telegram to gather information about the source of the threats.

In addition to school threats, over 90 flights have received bomb threats this week, most of which were hoaxes. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Director General RS Bhatti and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) Director General Zulfiqar Hasan met with Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan to discuss these threats. They emphasized the need for increased security and coordination among agencies to address the situation.
