Himachal Pradesh Officers Meet Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu

In Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, a group of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) Officers, led by President Shravan Manta, met with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The Chief Minister discussed the state government’s reforms in various sectors to provide quality services to the people. He emphasized the importance of education and health sectors and urged HPAS officers to work diligently to meet public expectations.

The HPAS Association assured their full cooperation in implementing the state government’s policies and programs. Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Secretary to Chief Minister Rakesh Kanwar, and other association members were also present.

Tourism Promotion Efforts

Chief Minister Sukhu highlighted efforts to connect all district headquarters with heliports to boost tourism. He mentioned that Himachal Pradesh aims to become the most beautiful state in the country for tourism. The Bir Billing site, known for paragliding, will host paragliders from 40 to 45 countries from November 2 to 9, which is expected to enhance tourism.

Concerns Over Union Budget

On a different note, Chief Minister Sukhu expressed concerns about the Union Budget, stating that Himachal Pradesh did not receive any funds despite suffering from floods. He mentioned that the state should have received Rs 9 thousand crores under PDNA but has not received it.
