Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh Talks About New Rules for Eateries and Shops

New Delhi, India – Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh announced that eateries and shops in the state must display the names of their owners. This decision aims to maintain the internal security of the state. Singh emphasized that it is the responsibility of the state government and everyone to keep peace in Himachal Pradesh.

Singh explained that shops usually display their registration numbers, but this new rule is crucial for internal security. An all-party committee has been formed to look into every detail, ensuring no compromise on security concerns.

He also mentioned that the High Court has repeatedly asked for town vending committees to be set up under municipal limits to create proper vending zones. Singh highlighted the importance of maintaining law and order, controlling the drug menace, and ensuring hygiene in eateries.

In recent meetings, the government decided to identify vendors regardless of whether they are from Himachal Pradesh or outside. This law applies to everyone to address the internal security concerns of the state.

Rajeev Shukla, Himachal Pradesh AICC in charge, supported the government’s decision, stating that it ensures only authorized persons can set up shops. He clarified that connecting this decision to Uttar Pradesh is incorrect.
