On a significant day in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu unveiled a statue of the brave Rani Jhansi Laxmi Bai in front of the Hamirpur bus stand. This event took place on a Saturday and was part of a series of beautification projects in Hamirpur city, costing a total of Rs 2.30 crore.

Beautification Projects in Hamirpur

Chief Minister Sukhu inaugurated several projects, including a rain shelter at Bhota Chowk, a beautified park in ward number 2, and renovation work at Gandhi Chowk. Additionally, a new park was constructed in front of the Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), and a street vendor market was established in Bhota. An aspirational toilet was also constructed near the DC office, and renovation work was completed at Pratap Nagar Chowk, Dang Kuali Chowk, and Puri Chowk.

Government’s Vision for Hamirpur

CM Sukhu expressed his commitment to enhancing the beauty of Hamirpur city and providing better facilities for its residents. He shared his personal interest in the city’s development and mentioned plans for a large complex at the old bus stand following the construction of a new one.
