Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Meets Home Minister Amit Shah for Disaster Relief Funds
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss the state’s vulnerability to natural disasters. Sukhu requested the release of Rs 9,042 crore for post-disaster recovery from last year’s monsoon, Rs 61.07 crore from the 2019-20 State Disaster Response Fund, Rs 200 crore for 2021-26, and Rs 60.10 crore from the National Disaster Response Force. He also sought approval for a Rs 125.84 crore project and the establishment of NDRF campuses in the state.
