Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Approves 25 New Projects to Boost Jobs and Investment
Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), July 24: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu led the 29th meeting of the State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA). The meeting approved 25 new project proposals aimed at setting up new industrial enterprises and expanding existing ones.
The approved projects are expected to bring in an investment of about Rs 2216.93 crore and create around 5027 job opportunities in the state.
New Projects
Some of the new projects include:
- M/s Pure and Cure Healthcare Pvt Ltd in Baddi, Solan for manufacturing tablets, capsules, and exotic fruits.
- Kumarsain in Shimla for integrated cold atmospheric storage and juice concentrate processing.
- M/s Potent Biotech Ltd in Nalagarh, Solan for liquid vial lyophilizer and ampoule line manufacturing.
- M/s VKM Liquor LLP in Sirmaur for malt spirit manufacturing.
- M/s Smilax Health Care Private Limited in Nalagarh, Solan for tablets and capsules manufacturing.
Expansion Projects
Some of the expansion projects include:
- M/s Ambuja Cements Ltd in Solan for clinker, cement, and power generation.
- M/s Ruchira Papers Limited in Sirmour for writing and printing paper manufacturing.
- M/s Auro Textiles in Baddi, Solan for processed fabric manufacturing.
- M/s Thermosol Glass India Private Limited in Sirmour for toughened and insulated laminated glass manufacturing.
- M/s Oxalis Labs in Baddi, Solan for tablets and ointments manufacturing.
Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
