Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Meets Dehra Delegations
On July 22, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met with various delegations from the Dehra Assembly constituency of Kangra district at his official residence. He listened to their demands and grievances and appreciated their efforts in ensuring the victory of Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur in the assembly bye-elections. Kamlesh Thakur is Sukhu’s wife.
The Chief Minister assured the delegations that relevant measures would be taken to address their issues. He stated that Dehra is set to become a model assembly constituency in the State in terms of development. The state government is committed to providing all possible assistance to resolve the problems faced by the residents and ensure systematic development in Dehra.
Sukhu announced that an MLA’s office would be opened in Dehra shortly to help solve local issues more efficiently. Kamlesh Thakur expressed her gratitude to the people of Dehra for their support and ensuring her victory in the bye-election. She plans to visit Dehra from July 26 to discuss and plan the development model for the area, prioritizing the needs and issues of the people.
