The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) held a state executive meeting to strengthen its party cadre and improve coordination with the state government. The meeting also welcomed the newly appointed All India Congress Committee (AICC) co-incharge for Himachal Pradesh, Vidit Chaudhary.

Importance of the Meeting

State Congress President Pratibha Singh emphasized the significance of the meeting for fostering collaboration between party members and the government. She introduced the new co-incharge and highlighted the need for continuous organizational work despite challenges like rain.

Singh stated, “Today, our co-incharge, who is newly appointed by the party, has joined us. We called this general house meeting, despite challenges like the rain, to ensure organisational work continues. Our aim is to strengthen the party by working in harmony with the government, assigning responsibilities to our officers, and ensuring active participation.”

Government Support

Singh added that the government is paying attention to this effort, with strong coordination between the organization and the government. She expressed confidence that the Congress would strengthen and present its achievements to the public in the coming years.

Preparing for Future Elections

PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh stressed the need to motivate the party cadre and prepare for the 2027 elections by energizing the organization from the grassroots. He noted the importance of welcoming Vidit Chaudhary into his new role and highlighted the party’s focus on future political battles.

Vikramaditya Singh said, “Today, our new in-charge, Vidit Chaudhary Ji, has come here. He has been entrusted with new responsibilities, and the general public, as well as the party, warmly welcomes him. Although the next elections are in 2027, we need to start working now by reaching every assembly constituency, and revitalising communication within the party. There is a pressing need to bring youth into the fold and advance the organisation with renewed strength. We are committed to this effort and will strive to fortify the party in the time ahead.”
