In Beirut, Lebanon, Hezbollah has confirmed the death of Hashem Safieddine, the head of its executive council. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) reported that Safieddine died in an airstrike targeting Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in Beirut’s Dahiyeh suburb on October 4. The strike also killed Hussein Ali Hazima, the Commander of Hezbollah’s Intelligence Headquarters.
