Hemant Soren Vows to Oust BJP After Release from Jail

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren, who was recently released on bail, has vowed that the opposition INDIA bloc will drive out the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the country. Speaking at a rally on Hul Diwas, Soren accused the BJP of being jittery and conspiring against him.

Addressing the crowd, Soren emphasized the courage of the people of Jharkhand, stating, “Jharkhand is a land of courageous people. Many will try to scare us, but that is momentary, and we don’t need to be scared.”

Soren was released from Birsa Munda Jail following a bail order from the Jharkhand High Court. He had been arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in January on charges related to an alleged land scam and money laundering. The investigation revealed fraudulent land acquisitions involving fake sellers and buyers.

Soren claims that the charges are attempts to tarnish his image as a tribal leader. The ED had recovered Rs 36 lakh in cash and documents related to the investigation, alleging that Soren had acquired 8.5 acres of land through fraudulent means.

Despite these challenges, Soren remains defiant and committed to his political goals.
