Hemant Soren Becomes Jharkhand’s 13th Chief Minister After Champai Soren Resigns

Hemant Soren was sworn in as the 13th Chief Minister of Jharkhand at Raj Bhavan. Former Chief Minister Champai Soren congratulated him and all alliance members. Hemant Soren was released on bail from Birsa Munda Jail after nearly five months in a land scam case. Champai Soren resigned just five months after taking office, paving the way for Hemant Soren’s return. The event was marked as ‘Sankalp Diwas,’ symbolizing a new era for Jharkhand.
