Heavy Rains in Kumaon: CM Dhami and Commissioner Rawat Lead Rescue Efforts

Heavy rains in Kumaon, Uttarakhand, have caused a flood-like situation in Devipura village, Tanakpur. Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami are overseeing rescue operations. Around 400 people have been evacuated.

The Meteorological Centre predicts more heavy rainfall until July 10. CM Dhami has directed disaster response teams to be on high alert and ensure the safety of residents. Residents are advised to stay in safe areas due to potential disasters.
