IMD Issues Nationwide Rainfall Warning

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy rainfall across several states from October 12 to 16. The forecast includes heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, and Gujarat. On October 13, very heavy rainfall is expected in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, with heavy rains in Konkan and Goa, Gujarat, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The pattern continues with very heavy rainfall predicted for Tamil Nadu and Kerala on October 14, and heavy rains in South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Saurashtra and Kutch. The forecast for October 15 and 16 includes heavy rainfall in Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.
