On Sunday morning, heavy rains caused severe waterlogging in Ajmer, a city in Rajasthan, India. Roads were submerged, and vehicles struggled to move through the flooded streets, especially in low-lying areas.

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Jaipur has issued a yellow alert for Ajmer until September 10. An orange alert has also been issued for moderate to heavy rainfall in several other districts, including Dausa, Tonk, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Banswara, Dungarpur, Udaipur, and Pratapgarh. However, the weather forecast for western Rajasthan remains normal with no warnings.

On September 7, heavy rainfall also caused severe waterlogging in Jaipur, leading to major traffic disruptions. Many markets, shops, and slums were flooded. Areas like Nirman Nagar, Mansarovar, Civil Lines, Anasagar Chaupati, Jaipur Road, and Hathi Bhata were particularly affected.
