On Thursday morning, heavy rain in Delhi resulted in severe waterlogging and traffic congestion in several parts of the city. The Mehrauli-Badarpur Road was particularly affected, with vehicles struggling to wade through the flooded streets.

Commuters faced significant delays as the waterlogged roads slowed down traffic. Visuals from the Parade Road Underpass in Delhi Cantonment also showed severe waterlogging.

In addition to Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, Dhaula Kuan experienced similar issues with waterlogged roads and traffic jams.

The heavy rain began in the early hours of Thursday, following a day of continuous rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning in Delhi and the National Capital Region on Wednesday.
