On Wednesday morning, heavy rain led to waterlogging in several parts of Delhi, causing significant traffic congestion. Visuals from the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road and Delhi Gate show vehicles struggling through waterlogged streets.

The Regional Meteorological Centre of New Delhi issued a yellow alert for the day. The Delhi Traffic Police had already issued advisories for commuters on Tuesday, warning of waterlogging at the Okhla Underpass and traffic issues on Rohtak Road due to potholes and waterlogging. They also advised avoiding Mundka and taking alternate routes.

Additionally, traffic on Mathura Road was disrupted due to an uprooted tree near Mohan Estate Metro Station. Light rain had also affected the city on Tuesday during the Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.
