HD Kumaraswamy Criticizes Karnataka Government and Expresses Confidence in Future Leadership

Mandya, Karnataka

Union Minister and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has launched a strong critique against the current Karnataka government led by Siddaramaiah. He predicts that the Congress government will not last until 2028, attributing its potential downfall to dissatisfaction among its own MLAs and the public.

Kumaraswamy emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not attempting to destabilize the government. Instead, he claims that the lack of funds is preventing Congress MLAs from effectively engaging with the public, which is causing unrest.

Future Aspirations

Expressing his aspirations, Kumaraswamy is confident that he will become Chief Minister again before 2028. He believes that the people of Karnataka will support him due to the pro-people programs he implemented during his previous tenure, despite it being under another party’s influence.

He criticized the current administration for financial mismanagement and asset seizure, suggesting that if these issues are addressed, more beneficial programs could be implemented for the people.

Concerns Over Job Losses

Kumaraswamy also accused the Karnataka government of spreading misinformation about Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) and Kudremukh Iron and Steel Company (KIOCL), which he claims has led to job losses for 300-400 KIOCL workers. He urged the Chief Minister to address these issues and expressed his willingness to take responsibility by writing to CM Siddaramaiah.
