Haryana’s Nuh Prepares for Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra with Tight Security

Security has been increased in Nuh, Haryana, for the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra starting on Monday. This comes after last year’s violence during the same event. Nuh Superintendent of Police Vijay Pratap stated that police teams are ready, with video surveillance through drones, Mounted Armed Police, and Dog Squad deployed.

Mobile internet and bulk SMS services are suspended in Nuh until July 22, 6 pm, to prevent misinformation and rumors. The state government assured that this would not affect commercial or financial interests or basic domestic needs. All telecom providers in Haryana must comply with this order.

The Nuh Police, along with CAPF, RAF, and IRB, have made strong security arrangements, including 23 security checkpoints. Around 2000 security personnel are deployed, and new technologies like drones are used to monitor the route. A flag march will be conducted in the evening to ensure no outsiders with weapons mix in the crowd.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the administration is on alert to address any issues during the Yatra. He appealed to Nuh residents to cooperate to make the event successful, emphasizing the importance of harmony and vigilance.
